Country trio Lady Antebellum will own the night when they headline the State Fair Main Stage presented by Potawatomi on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 8:00 p.m. during the 2014 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular®.

WI State Fair Lady AntebellumBand members Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood are best known for harmonizing on beautiful, catchy, country-pop songs filled with verve. Since the band’s inception in 2006, their love and commitment to creating memorable music has set them apart from other main-stream country artists and kept them consistently at the top of the charts. This is especially true on their newest album, “Golden,” released in May, which features their most recent hit “Compass,” currently No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. The album generated a buzz that praises the artists’ dedication to its roots and the single “Downtown” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart shortly after its release.

Fans first fell in love with Lady A’s natural harmonies, heartfelt melodies and relatable lyrics with their debut as guest vocalists on pianist Jim Brickman’s single “Never Alone.” Since then, chart-topping hits like “I Run to You,” “American Honey” and “Need You Now” pushed the group into the spotlight and earned them countless music industry award nominations and wins, including seven Grammys and Vocal Group of the Year honors from both the Country Music Association and from the Academy of Country Music three years in a row.

Kristian Bush of Sugarland will open for Lady Antebellum. Bush is known as one half of dynamic country duo Sugarland, and is widely respected in the music industry as a singer, songwriter and producer. After working with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles for several years, Bush is currently writing and recording for his debut solo album, due for release in late 2014.
