The unique mix of rock, rap, reggae and funk sounds of 311 will rock the Fair on Friday, Aug. 8. After years of consistent touring, 311 developed a reputation as one of the hardest working, most influential and entertaining live bands in the country. March 11, known to fans as “311 Day,” marked the release of their newest album, “Stereolithic.” Since the band’s inception in 1988, they have released 11 studio albums, selling over 8.5 million albums in the U.S., with chart topping singles including “Down” and “Don’t Tread on Me.”
DJ Trichrome will open the 8:00 p.m. show. Trichrome has more than 25 years of experience spinning records and combines the tin drum sounds of reggae with the funky island-style beat to create an especially unique DJ performance.
Tickets for 311 with special guest DJ Trichrome will be $35 and $25. All TRACK TICKETS for this show will be GENERAL ADMISSION, STANDING ROOM ONLY. There will be no reserved track seating for this show. Reserved seating will begin in the lower grandstand, and both track general admission and lower grandstand reserved seats will be $35. Upper grandstand reserved seats will be $25. All Main Stage tickets INCLUDE FAIR ADMISSION when purchased prior to entering the Fair Park.
