Getting to the Fair can be easy if you plan ahead and know where to go and what closures to look for!

The Marquette Interchange Project will continue through the summer of 2008.  For current closures affected by the project, please visit this handy link and plug in the dates of the Wisconsin State Fair, July 31 through August 10, on the calendar drop downs and you’ll receive a complete listing of closures.  http://www.mchange.org/ListClosures.do

For general highway closures in Wisconsin due to Summer Construction, utilize this link http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/road/workzones.htm and click on the region in Wisconsin
from which you are traveling for a map and listing of highway construction projects and their
estimated completion dates.

If you are coming from Illinois and are looking for construction delays or closures you may encounter
on Illinois roadways or highways, please visit this link that provides several useful links to construction

If you are using online directions, the address of the Fair Park is 640 South 84th Street, West Allis,
WI 53214, however you will still want to utilize the more detailed directions provided below when in proximity of the Fair Park.

Check Closures Due to Construction!
 
General Directions to the Fair Park:

From the West:
Drive in the center lane of I-94, passing the 84th St. exit (far right lane is 84th St. EXIT ONLY lane.). Get in the right lane and take the 68th and 70th Streets exit. Turn left onto 68th St., then left again to double back heading west on Connor St. to 76th St. (stay to the right do not get back on the freeway). Turn left (south) on 76th St. and proceed clockwise to the Fair's first open gate.

From the East:
Take the 68th and 70th Streets exit, traveling straight ahead (west) on Connor St. to 76th St. Turn left (south) on 76th St. and proceed clockwise to the Fair's first open gate.

From the North:
From Hwy 45 or Hwy 43, take I-94 to the 68th and 70th Streets exit. Head west on O’Connor St. to 76th St. Turn left (south) on 76th St. and proceed clockwise to the Fair's first open gate.
               
From Chicago/South:
Take I-94 north (toward downtown Milwaukee), then take I-94 west (toward Madison). Exit at the 68th and 70th Streets exit. Head west on Connor St. to 76th St. Turn left (south) on 76th St. and proceed clockwise to the Fair's first open gate..

From the Southwest:
Take the I-894 bypass and exit at National Ave. Turn right (east) onto National Ave. and proceed to 84th St. Continue past Greenfield Ave. and proceed clockwise to the Fair's first open gate.
