older to apply for most of the positions listed. Most jobs are for the 11-days of State Fair only, July 31
through August 10.

*Security: Security staff provide crowd control at key locations during Wisconsin State Fair and other events, and monitor admission credentials at gates and other control points.
*Ticket Takers/Ushers: Takers collect tickets at control points at multiple venues within Wisconsin State Fair Park. Ticket Takers may be assigned to vehicle and/or pedestrian entrance admission gates/grandstand gates. Ushers are assigned to various entertainment areas throughout Wisconsin State Fair Park. Ticket Takers and Ushers routinely rotate positions.
*Gate/Ticket Sellers: Sellers are often the first contact with the general public. Requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to think on your feet. Ticket Sellers may be requested to sell admission tickets and/or wristbands or coupons at admission gates or at other locations. Sellers will be required to pass a math test.
Tram Conductors/Drivers: Conductors greet Wisconsin State Fair Park guests and provide assistance getting on and off the trams. Tram Conductors are Guest Information representatives and are required to have a general knowledge of the event and be able to convey information properly to the public. Tram drivers are responsible for the safe operation of the tram vehicle at all times and must hold a valid CDL license.
Grounds Laborers: Grounds Laborer positions are available for all three shifts daily during Wisconsin State Fair. They are responsible for maintaining a clean environment for fair guests, including paper picking, cleaning bathrooms, garbage collection and removal and barn cleaning. Grounds laborers also provide assistance setting up special events.
*Revenue Control: Revenue Control staff is responsible for verifying revenue collection from admission gate and grandstand ticketing during the Fair event. Revenue Control staff also monitors sales/ticketing procedures to ensure that accounting procedures and policies are adhered to, reporting any discrepancies to supervisory staff.
Guest Services: Work in one of the five information booths during Wisconsin State Fair. Provide event information, assistance with lost children and direct guest complaints to the correct department for efficient handling.
Agriculture Department: Work with the department that showcases Wisconsin’s Agricultural Heritage. Responsibilities may include providing services for livestock exhibitors such as operation of the WSF feed and bedding store, livestock show preparations, agriculture traffic control and agriculture parking directors. Applicants must be hard working, able to lift at least 40 lbs and have good customer service and communication skills.

Imperial Parking Company will also have employment opportunities at the Job Fair, but employees will not be directly employed by the Wisconsin State Fair. |
