Overview
Built in 1996, the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center was built to provide housing for Junior Fair participants exhibiting during the annual Wisconsin State Fair. The Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center now offers a premier location for conferences, business meetings, corporate parties, team building and training sessions, club events, smaller trade shows, and sports and youth camps.

The expansive lobby offers additional space for registration, receptions, hospitality areas and continetal breakfasts. The versatile meeting room
arrangements are excellent for breakout and training
sessions, banquets, receptions board meetings, public
information sessions and more!

Located in a friendly and convenient neighborhood setting in the city of West Allis and centrally located in the greater Milwaukee area, the TGT Youth Center is easy to find, access, and utilize. Located at Wisconsin State Fair Park, just off of Interstate 94, the location is familiar to people throughout the region.

Dormitory Accommodations
The Youth Center dormitory is available to provide secure, affordable accommodations
to an array of youth-oriented, community and group needs.

● Room Capacity is 8 youth or 6 adults per room
● Each room is furnished with 6 bunk beds and has a    separate shower and toilet area
● All rooms are equipped with lockers
● 24-hour security at the front desk
● Bedding available
● In-House Catering Department features special “Youth Camp” meal plans at very
   affordable pricing to create a very economical room & board package for your group

Room Rates:
● 3 Dormitory Room Minimum per Stay
● 3 Rooms are $160 each per night
● 4 Rooms are $120 each per night
● 5 Rooms are $196 each per night
● 6 or more Rooms are $80 each per night
 
 
Meeting Room Specifications
11,500 Square Feet of event space is available on the TGT Youth Center’s main level. The versatile meeting room arrangements are perfect for sales meetings, training sessions, banquets, receptions, board meetings, civic functions, even small trade shows.

On-site dormitory style housing is also available

Telephone service, DSL lines and projection screens are available in each room.Adjacent space to each room is convenient for registration, luncheons or group functions.
