MILITARY AND VETERANS RECOGNITION DAY
Presented By Walmart - Sunday , august 15

Join Walmart in celebrating our military with a special tribute, activities and demonstrations all day in Central Mall. Experience Civil War drills with a 12 lb. Howitzer Gun cast in 1863, Wisconsin Veterans Museum displays, statewide
information for Veterans and Military personnel, and more.
Central Mall Activities
9am - 4pm Stop by the tent to receive important information from the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, Mission Welcome Home, VA Medical Center, VA Regional Office, Milwaukee County Veterans Service Office, Milwaukee Vet Center, Military One Source, Veterans Museum, and more.
9am - 4pm Go back in history and relive the times during the Civil War. Soldiers will be dressed in uniforms of the period and performing drills throughout the day on a 12 lb. Howitzer Gun cast in 1863. The gun will be on display for Fairgoers to enjoy and periodic presentations will be featured on the Central Mall stage.

Fairgoers will be able to admire the size of some of
the Military Vehicles that will be on display including a
submarine and a mobile Post Office.
