Stroll along over 400 feet of magnificent shopping in The Galleria of the Big Backyard, the Fair’s newest shopping destination. Find treasures from around the world as well as many handmade items made right here in the U.S. Discover items such as American made sterling silver jewelry, wood carvings from Africa, and hand crafted Grecian olive oil soaps. Stop for something to eat at Fiesta Garibaldi and listen to authentic mariachi music as you sip your frozen Margarita. Located down the center of the Big Backyard just west of the Original Cream Puff Pavilion.

CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE - AUGUST 10 at 7PM
If you like speed, check out the Champion youth horsemen and horsewomen from throughout the state who will be riding in the first Wisconsin State Fair Champions Challenge. Events include
Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Key, Plug, Speed and Action. The Champions Challenge takes place
in the coliseum.

CREAM PUFFS…COME AND GET` EM
The Original Cream Puffs in 6-packs “to go” will be available for only $18 at convenient remote locations near the U.S. Cellular® Main Gate and Gate 2 near the Wisconsin Exposition Center from dusk until close every evening. It’s now easier than ever to grab a 6-pack on your way home! Original Cream Puffs will also be available daily in the Original Cream Puff Pavilion, at the Walk-up Window,
and in the Cream Puff Drive-thru from 6am - 8am during the Fair.

Stop by to see "Energy on a Stick," a solar tracker with photovoltaic panels, which produce electrical energy from sunlight, mounted on a pole or "a stick." This will provide an up-close look at solar panels similar to the new panels on the roof of the Wisconsin Products Pavilion! A photo-electric eye is attached to the panels to maximize efficiency as the eye tracks the sun's arc across the sky. By tracking the sun's arc, efficiencies of solar panels can be increased by as much as 30 percent. Located on North Grandstand Avenue near the Livestock Barns.

The Fair’s environmental focus carries over to entertainment as Magician Steve Trash will conduct
a “Green Magic” class for kids as the Rockin’ Eco Hero where he will incorporate a “Green” theme, props and education into his show. The Rolling Recycle Cycle created entirely of reclaimed or recycled parts will be put to the task of educating and entertaining while sharing lessons on the value of the environment and its resources. MACHINE SHED
You’ll find Real Food, Real People and Real Memories at the Machine Shed Restaurant at the Fair! Known for their “best breakfast in America,” the Machine Shed will be serving All You Can Eat Pancakes (including four new varieties) and Chocolate Covered Bacon on a Stick! Located across from the We Energies Energy Park.

Check out the new Potato Patio adjacent to the Wisconsin Products Pavilion. Avoid the wait inside the Wisconsin Products Pavilion and pick up your baked potato from the outside spud window and then relax on the Potato Patio as you enjoy your famous Wisconsin baked potato with all the fixin’s.

Wisconsin State Fair is going Bonkerz with State Fair Funnies. Every evening we will feature nationally touring comedians who have appeared on TV and are family friendly. See belly busting comedians, comic magicians and hilarious ventriloquists, plus special guests each night of State Fair.

SAVE YOUR GREEN with Wisconsin State Fair & Milwaukee Irish Fest!
New this year, guests attending the Wisconsin State Fair on Wednesday, August 12, can obtain a voucher for FREE admission
into Irish Fest on Thursday, August 13. Wisconsin State Fair attendees can simply redeem their Wisconsin State Fair Ticket at the Wisconsin Exposition Center Box Office located on the south end of the Fair Park for a FREE Irish Fest admission voucher (Fair tickets must be redeemed on August 12 only).
