DOG FAIR – AUGUST 10 ONLY
The Dog Fair is always a great adventure and very entertaining and this year’s Dog Fair will be no different when it takes place on Monday, August 10 in the Coliseum from 9:30am until 5pm. The dog demos, lurecoursing, agility, flyball and musical chairs are just some of the doggie favorites that are planned.

Featuring 4-H Style Revues, Musical & Drama Performances
Come support some of the best talent in the state of Wisconsin! Enjoy daily 4-H style revues, and musical and drama performances showcased by youth members of Wisconsin’s 4-H. Ag Oasis is located between the Coliseum and the Wisconsin Products Pavilion.
ASSURANT HEALTH FAMILY VARIETY STAGE
Located within the Big Backyard, the Assurant Health Family Variety Stage offers fantastic, interactive
entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. Enjoy a variety of performances from engaging entertainers throughout the day and evening. The stage features performances by the Truly Remarkable Loon, Kenny Ahern, Steve Trash’s “Green Magic Show,” National Yo-Yo Champion
Mark Hayward, The Recycle Show, Nick’s Kids Show, Kandu & Co. Magic Show and others!

BUDWEISER CLYDESDALES
No matter what age, everyone turns into a kid when they see the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales. The Clydesdales return to the Fair in 2009 for all 11-days! These magnificent
creatures will be located in the Animal Care Building in the central portion of Ag Village across
from Discovery Barnyard.
CENTRAL MALL
A broad range of fun activities fill Central Mall every day thanks to our sponsors. Activities vary by day and detailed information on the activities of the day will be available on the Daily Fliers available for download on the website or at the Fair’s Information Centers.
CHILDREN’S FAMILY FUN ZONE
For a wide range of activities and inflatable fun, take the kids to the Children’s Family Fun Zone
operated by Music on the Move Plus. There are two Children’s Family Fun Zones located near the
northwest side of the Wisconsin Exposition Center and on the east side of the Wisconsin Exposition Center. (Fee Applies)
NATURAL RESOURCES PARK
The Natural Resources Park is located just west of the Wisconsin Exposition Center on the south side of the Fair Park and is a wonderful experience for kids and families. The Natural Resources Park provides a beautiful and green natural setting while also offering a variety of interactive and fun activities for children.
DISCOVERY BARNYARD
Located in Ag Village, the Discovery Barnyard is an incredible place for the entire family to learn about animal agriculture, see animal exhibits, and demonstrations while seeing animals up close. It’s a wonderful, fun, and educational place to discover the world of animal agriculture!

The slide isn’t just for kids, but kids definitely love it! Prepare to hear “can we go again?”
The giant green and yellow slide is a Wisconsin State Fair icon and part of the true Fair experience.

Located in the Wisconsin Exposition Center, the stage features all sorts of cool stuff for kids and families from martial arts demonstrations, dance groups, Fairest of the Fairs, contests, fitness demonstrations and more. New this year, there will also be Guitar Hero jam sessions, Golden Idol performances, and a comedy show by the State Fair Funnies. KIDDIE KINGDOM
If your little one loves rides, but isn’t quite big enough to take on the excitement of the Spectacular Midway, we have kiddie size fun in our Kiddie Kingdom. “MAKE IT, TAKE IT” AREA
Located in the lobby of the Wisconsin Exposition Center, the “Make It, Take It” area is a great place for kids to explore their creative side. Necklace making and beadwork, creating key chains, and Origami are all part of the fun! Stop by and let your kids make it and then take it home.
MILKING PARLOR
Daily milking demonstrations take place at the Milking Parlor located on the southeast corner on the lower level of the double deck barn.
MILWAUKEE ART MUSEUM: A MOBILE ART EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER

SAZ’S RACING PIGS PRESENTED BY MILWAUKEE ADMIRALS
Fairgoers of every age line up to see the Racing Pigs run the track in pursuit of their coveted cheese
doodle! The Racing Pigs compete each day at 11am, 1, 3:30, 6, and 8pm in the Racing Pigs Arena
located on Second Street. This year, there will be swimming pigs, too!
VEGGIE RACES
Located in the Ag Oasis, which can be found between the Coliseum and the Wisconsin Products Pavilion, kids can pick a vegetable and race with it. It’s fun for the whole family and parents can cheer
on their youngster and their veggie as they race to cross the finish line! Races take place throughout the day.
WE ENERGIES ENERGY PARK
Filled with all sorts of exciting and educational programming for Fairgoers, We Energies Energy Park is a wonderful setting to enjoy horticulture expert Melinda Myers, Sky Hunters “Birds of Prey,” the Energy Game Show, Sensational Servings with Chef Mark and the Solar Car Race. Plus, We Energies provides FREE Safety Wristbands for Children from 8am until 8pm daily. For detailed stage schedules, please consult the Schedule tab.
